Studentenes Fredspris tildeles studentaktivist på Vestbredden Mohammad Hureini (22)
Studentenes fredspris 2027 deles ut til den palestinske studentaktivisten Mohammad Hureini for hans arbeid med menneskerettigheter, retten til utdanning og fredsbygging på Vestbredden. Hureini har arbeidet i nesten ti år for å styrke lokalsamfunn og skape internasjonal oppmerksomhet rundt menneskerettigheter.

Dagen før årets OD-dag møtte SAIH, Operasjon Dagsverk, NF Solidaritetsungdom og vår sørafrikanske partner Equal Education kronprinsesse Ingrid Alexandra på Slottet. Audiensen var hennes første alene som kronprinsesse. Samtalen handlet om ungdommers rett til utdanning og arbeidet for tryggere og mer rettferdige skoler i Sør-Afrika.
