Winter Gathering 2025

The Best Weekend in February is Approaching – SAIH's Winter Gathering 2025! The Winter Gathering is a fantastic opportunity to get to know the organization better through a great mix of creative workshops, engaging discussions, activism, and fun activities. Most importantly, you’ll connect with other passionate people from all over Norway and the world!

The Winter Gathering is one of our annual national events and is open to all SAIH local chapters and members. Together, we will kick off work on this year’s political projects, discuss SAIH’s new strategy, strengthen and learn new skills, and prepare for the annual meeting in April.

Are you interested in running for a position in SAIH? Or are you just curious about the different roles available? Then the Winter Gathering is the perfect place to be! The nomination committee will be present to answer all your questions – how to run, who can run, and what positions are available. More information will be available soon on saih.no.

Travel and Accommodation

The gathering will take place at Kongsberg Vandrehjem Bergmannen in Kongsberg, a short train ride from Oslo, from February 21st to 23rd.

Accommodation and meals are free for all SAIH activists and members. In addition, SAIH will cover travel costs for two activists from each local chapter. Any additional travel expenses will need to be covered by the local chapters themselves. Members must cover their own travel costs.
