Youth Empowerment Transformation Trust - YETT

SAIH has supported YETT since 2013 and is now collaborating on a regional program, the Student Academic Freedom Regional Advocacy Program (SAFRAP), aimed at capacitating and strengthening the collaboration between student groups in the SADC region. It has become an important platform where student activistsinteract to share experiences and strategies. The program aims to empower students to more effectively influence authorities and decision-makers with the goal of improving higher education systems and strengthening the rights and academic freedom of students.
Regional partners include the Southern Africa Students Union (SASU), the Zambian National Education Coalition (ZANEC), and Swaziland Youth Empowerment Organization.
