PCN organizes more than 140 Afro-Colombian community councils, fighting to access to higher education, land and power.
PCN played a crucial role in ensuring that Afro-Colombians were given special consideration in the peace agreement from 2016 and has strengthened the peace process at the grassroots and in high conflict areas.
SAIH supports their vibrant youth movement which works to counter-act the impacts centuries have had on the self-esteem of Afro youth, decolonize the country's history by incorporating Afro-Colombian narratives, and advocate for Afro-Colombian dignity and rights among the youth.
