NOMADESC is a human rights organization that works to strengthen the rights of marginalized groups through education.
NOMADESC emerged from years of work with communities affected by social conflicts and extractive industries invading their territories. With the support of SAIH, NOMADESC runs the Intercultural People’s University. The university uses an educational approach based on dialogue between those who teach, the students and their communities. The students are nominated as representatives of their local communities and their research projects are based on the needs of that community.
