GALZ - An Association of LGBTI People in Zimbabwe works to enhance the rights of LGBTQIA+ individuals in a country with severe restrictions on homosexuality and gender diversity.
With the support from SAIH, GALZ collaborates with student groups, teachers' unions, and other organizations to promote inclusivity and non-discrimination in higher education. They also support research projects and establish support systems for queer students in universities and colleges. GALZ's mission is to advocate, educate, research, and provide safe spaces, all driven by their vision for a just society that protects LGBTQIA+ rights and equality in Zimbabwe.
