ACEU is a nation wide student organization advocating for student rights and academic freedom in Colombia.
Founded in 1998, ACEU represents the culmination of decades of relentless struggles waged by Colombian students. Today, ACEU thrives in over 50 universities across the country, collaborating with organizations like ANDES for a holistic transformation of the education sector and society. ACEU leads national protests for increased public funding and an inclusive and just education system.
SAIH works closely with ACEU to provide leadership training, rights training, conduct research, document rights violations and combat gender-based violence at universities.
