SAIH seeks consultant for evaluation of partner-led research in the Global South

Are you passionate about community-driven research and higher education in the Global South?
SAIH is now looking for a consultant or consulting team to conduct a participatory evaluation of partner-led research under our Education for Liberation programme.
This is a unique opportunity to assess how community-driven, decolonial, and participatory research contributes to systemic change in higher education, knowledge production, and advocacy across Latin America, Southern Africa, and Southeast Asia.
Key focus areas:
- Impact of partner-led research on advocacy, policy, and institutional transformation
- Knowledge co-production, decolonial methodologies, and inclusive learning environments
- Strategies to amplify research use within SAIH and among global partners
Expected deliverables:
- An inception report
- A systematised research archive
- An impact assessment report
- Guidelines for future research from a decolonial perspective
Who are we looking for?
A consultant or team with:
- Strong background in participatory and decolonial research
- Knowledge of higher education in the Global South
- Fluency in English and Spanish
The work can be carried out from anywhere in the world.
