Sign the petition! Norwegian companies must stop financing the Moroccan occupation of Western Sahara.

Morocco occupies Western Sahara. The Saharawi who live there are subjected to great suffering. The students are protesting, and they and their families are tortured or simply disappeared.

What many do not know is that Western Sahara is full of natural resources. Several Norwegian companies operate in the area, and are thus helping to finance the Moroccan occupation.

We require that this ends! We encourage Norwegian students to put pressure on the Norwegian authorities and companies who are profiting from the suppression of an entire people.

I require that:

- The Norwegian authorities make it clear to all Norwegian companies that they discourage trade with resources from Western Sahara, including imports to Norway.

- The Norwegian authorities create an independent ombudsperson for corporate social responsibility, which with a right to inspect can assess whether companies violate human rights.
