Project trip for local chapter activists, 2009

SAIH wants to give two local chapter activists the opportunity to participate in a project trip to one of the countries where we have partners. This year the trip will go to South Africa during the first two weeks of August. All who are active in on of SAIH's local chapters can apply, and the deadline to send in your application is 13th April.
Torsdag 26. februar 2009

The two local chapter activists will travel together with program advisor for South Africa, Hermund Tvilde, and SAIH's president, Sigrun Espe. This really is a unique opportunity to learn more about SAIH and out partner's work. We strongly recommend applying. The trip will last from 10 to 14 days, and all expenses, such as tickets, hotels, food and vaccinations, will be covered.

Those who travel must sign an contract with SAIH, where one agrees to contribute to SAIH's informational work for at least one semester after the trip. Such work can involve writing texts for papers of for the web page, or speaking at different arrangements. It will be particularly important to try and use the experiences in SAIH's political campaign.

The program for the trip will not be ready until after we know whether or nor we are chosen as the organisation to get Operation Day's Work for 2009. There is more information about SAIH in South Africa and our partner organisations on our website.
